In this video, we learn how to create a simple Uncle Sam costume hat and beard for the 4th of July using common household items. Materials needed include a paper plate, paper strips in red and blue, glue stick, scissors, cotton balls, tape, paper, yarn or thread.
The hat is made by gluing red paper strips onto a white paper base, adding a blue strip, and attaching a paper loop for the headband. The beard is created by cutting a paper plate in half and shaping it into a beard. This DIY project is easy and fun for all ages.
